Some values are unwavering. They inform how I make decisions, they shape who I am as a person.
Inclusion:
I’m dedicated to supporting the success and well-being of all students and staff regardless of race, culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or ability. Classrooms are for all students and creating a safe space is foundational to the ability to learn.
Truth & Reconciliation:
I’m committed to ensuring Indigenous knowledge and teachings are integrated into classrooms. That age appropriate lessons about our shared history and Indigenous contributions are woven throughout the school year. I commit to working collaboratively with the Indigenous Education Council in shaping education in our district.
Connection & Belonging:
I support the active engagement and participation of students in their school and broader community to foster a sense of connection and belonging. I advocate for student voice to help determine the direction of education in our community.

Social Emotional Learning:
I support working with students to build self awareness, manage emotions and make responsible choices that contribute to their school and family community.
